Our History & Location

Mindarie Primary School opened at the commencement of 1997 with 175 Pre-Primary to Year 7 children as a ‘School in Houses’ initiative.

The school relocated to a newly constructed permanent school in April 1999.

The school features six teaching blocks, a fully automated library and a fully enclosed and carpeted assembly area that caters for performing arts and other activities.

The school’s facilities include five Early Childhood Centres, three of which are permanent Pre-Primary classrooms and two that are purpose built Kindergarten transportables.

Mindarie Primary School became an Independent Public School in 2011 which has provided the school with greater autonomy and the capacity to make decisions centred around meeting the unique requirements of our school community.
