Call the Department of Health COVID-19 line if you are seeking information on coronavirus (COVID-19). The line operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week and will answer all questions that you might have.

What is the school doing to prepare for a possible temporary closure?
Simple answer, a lot. The school met and coordinated, via year level, to consider and brainstorm their capabilities and readiness to adapt and deliver a continued school curriculum, utilising existing systems, without face-to-face options. We embrace the skill set of our staff here at Mindarie and will offer a range of solutions that are already being used, and will be implemented if we are forced to shut. Connect is, and will continue to be, our default delivery platform. To proceed with Continuity, other resources such as SeeSaw and OneNote are also considered to be sources that staff use. These resources are already in place, and give a place for sharing lesson plans and other lesson resources. Teachers have been proactive in testing student logins to our online facilities and learning resources. If we close, the school will communicate with you via Email, SMS, Connect and our website. If you currently do not have access to Connect at home, please contact the office directly. If you do not have access to the internet and a device at home, please also let your children’s teacher know to support your child’s learning during a temporary closure.
