Mental Health and Student Wellbeing
We are all in this together. This is the message that has driven everything that we have put together here at Mindarie Primary School. We believe that the connection that your child has with the school and school community is just as important as providing learning experiences to them.
The following advice has been adopted from the Triple P (www.triplep-parenting.net) website, and is an excellent run down to support families through the times ahead.
Reassure your children that your family is your top priority.
Maintain everyday family routines.
Have plenty of interesting things to do at home.
Take notice of behaviour you like.
Make sure your child knows you are ready to talk.
Be truthful in answering children’s questions.
Have a family plan of action.
Help children learn to tolerate more uncertainty.
Take care of yourself the best you can.
Reach out and connect with loved ones.
